Peggy DeArmond
Relatively new to Central Oregon, Peggy DeArmond is known for her dynamic and highly sensitive performances. A pianist of great versatility, she was an active accompanist, soloist, chamber and orchestral musician and teacher in the greater New York City metropolitan area for over 30 years. Ms. DeArmond served as principal keyboardist with the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra for 26 years, and her many appearances in the NYC area included performances with a variety of orchestras, soloists and chamber ensembles, including appearances in Carnegie, Alice Tully, Avery Fisher, Merkin Halls, and at the Madison Square Garden and the Mohegan Sun in Connecticut with Andrea Bocelli.

Scott Michaelsen

Scott Michaelsen is a freelance musician, specializing as an accompanist and in music direction for musical theater. He was raised in Central Oregon, studying piano under Peter Brownlee and playing in numerous young artist competitions and events including the OMTA Junior Bach Festival and Sunriver Music Festival's Young Artist's Scholarship program.
In 2010, Scott graduated from Seattle Pacific University with a Bachelor's Degree in music composition and music technology. Since moving back to Bend after graduation, he has served as an accompanist for local cabarets and numerous student competitions and recitals.
In December 2013, Scott's arrangement of the Christmas carol, We Three Kings, for piano and choir was featured during the Mastersingers' holiday concert.
He has also musically directed and conducted several theater productions, including Spamalot, Sweeney Todd, Beauty and the Beast, and Guys and Dolls. He is the active in-house music director for Thoroughly Modern Productions, working with both children and adults. When not seen behind a piano, Scott can be found on the golf course or the slopes of Mt. Bachelor.
